Paradoxical Christian Teaching

The Bible teaches that there is peace for Christ’s followers amidst the storms of life. It is an antithetical Christian teaching at the surface. The wisdom of this world suggests the idea of a predictable peace right after the tempest. Hence, the cliche: “peace after the storm” or “darkest hour before the dawn.” But what divine teaching is it that there is peace and comfort while one is in the limbo of trials and sufferings?

Christ’s Promised Eternal Life Versus Salvation by Works Why You Really Need Eternal Life in Christ

Christs promised eternal life

Faith in Jesus is the key to living forever, “for by GRACE you have been saved through FAITH.” Christ’s promised eternal life makes sense since we are sinners and cannot impress God with our gifts and charities to the poor. Hence, our salvation, our eternal life, is “the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.”

Spiritual Stability of Those Applying Christ’s Word

spiritual stability prayerful

What is spiritual stability? This query seems unimportant or irrelevant for the unsaved floods of people. They don’t have time for the God of the Bible—not until hunger, disease, or the mystery of death breaks through their lives! Their obsession with the cares of this life deceives them to love themselves more than God.

Weakening Moral Values

The weakening of moral values signals society’s compulsory return to the basic Orthodox Christian teachings or there could be no “healing of our land.” President Donald Trump viewed the problems of the Americans as solvable only through draining the swamp (as Social Media describe it) that was reasonably devised by the Liberals and the open border politicians. Trump, whose parents were Presbyterians, talked a lot about his concern for the Jewish people and one reason could perhaps be traced by his “Jewish grasp” (Bible knowledge aside) since Ivanka, his daughter, was married to a Jew (real estate developer Jared Kushner). Anyhow, Trump is a more Bible-quoting president than Obama who was one compelling leader of the Americans’ weakening moral values.

Annoyingly Persistent Prayer is What God Requires

unhappiness

Of an annoyingly persistent prayer: Who can do it? David’s prayer to God for the recovery of his sick son with Bathsheba is one biblical example of a persistent prayer. The Bible stated that the child “was very sick. David, therefore, inquired of God for the child; and David fasted and went and lay all night on the ground. The elders of his household stood beside him in order to raise him up from the ground, but he was unwilling and would not eat food with them.” (2 Sam. 12:1b-17) Only the real believers can do such agonizingly persistent prayer!

Time Consciousness Bars Eternal Life

time

Be enslaved, therefore, by time consciousness and consider timelessness as a prominent symbol of ignorance or academic mediocrity. Or, think about the soul as just the brain; and God, the natural product of malnutrition or sleeplessness or the analgesic of the poor.
