How to have real peace of mind and heart? The Bible teaches two kinds of peace. One is given by the world; the other, by Christ Jesus. “My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, do I give to you.” The natural man tends to seek after the real peace of this world. His surest formula to have the tranquility of mind and soul is to have a whirl with friends. Or, sometimes he would choose to waste his energy in mountain climbing or travels to attain real peace hopefully.

The weakening of moral values signals society's compulsory return to the basic Orthodox Christian teachings or there could be no "healing of our land." President Donald Trump viewed the problems of the Americans as solvable only through draining the swamp (as the Social Media describe it) that was reasonably devised by the Liberals and the open border politicians. Trump, whose parents were Presbyterians, talked a lot about his concern for the Jewish people and one reason could perhaps be traced by his "Jewish grasp" (Bible knowledge aside) since Ivanka, his daughter, was married to a Jew (real estate developer Jared...

Praise-Worship Instead of Praise and Worship. Pentecostal theologians say that if you truly praise God, then show it physically. Van Cleave added that a showy-praise practice is an aid to worship. (See Guy P. Duffield and Nathaniel M. Van Cleave. Foundations of Pentecostal Theology. L.I.F.E. Bible Colleg, San Dimas, California 91773. 1987.) In Pentecostal meetings you will find some dancing, clapping, crying, shouting, speaking in tongues, among other forms of worship-disorder. They call it as "praise and worship." Further examinations of this teaching, however, show that it more fitting for the doctrine to be named as PRAISE-WORSHIP instead of "praise...

Tongues speaking is one primary teaching we want to cover here. This paper intends to bring out more biblical facts and analyses about the biblical speaking in tongues versus the heretical tongues as part of the extreme Pentecostal theology. We don’t theorize, as did Spurgeon, that speaking in tongues is already a lost gift since in Acts 2:33 and 39, it is said that the PROMISE OF THE FATHER is going to be given for all generations.

I have the opportunity of listening to a few (paid) public speakers and noticed their control of the audience. Jesus Christ, our Lord, Peter, John, the Apostle Paul, among other Bible characters, did not do cow preaching, did they? Good speakers don't shout; neither do they bang their lectern habitually! For they can easily control their audience by their natural gift for public speaking; by their logic, their humor, their flawless eloquence, and oratory.

One significant question is that if we are real born-again Christians, do we need to celebrate or observe the Holy Week? In just a mouse click away, we could google dozens of the list of religious holidays (or holydays?) The Jewish religion, Islam, Catholicism, Seventh Day Adventism, among other religious groups observe "holidays requiring absence from work beyond existing Statutory Holidays." What is the meaning of the Christian Holy Week observance among the Catholics and other Christians denominations?
