Biblical Gospel Explained

biblical gospel

The word “gospel” means good news. And biblical gospel refers to the good news according to the Holy Bible. If it is not scriptural, it is a counterfeit gospel. We need to shake that off at all costs. But what is this good news or biblical gospel? The short answer is Jesus Christ.

Psalm 23: Divine Promises of Provision, Assurance, and Hope

psalm 23 the lord in my shepherd

Our Lord sealed off the depth of this psalm, “written about Me.” (See Luke 24:44). As with other Scriptures, Psalm 23 earns our sacred spiritual care.

Born Again Christ’s Version: Understanding the Biblical Born-Again Experience

born-again-christ-version

The emphasis in this book is the born-again experience lived by true Christians. It is this experience of truth that Christ’s followers chose death over recantation. It explains the willingness of William Tyndale, the father of the English Bible, to be burned at the stake. The unbelievers and atheists see the second birth as a subject for amusement and mockery. But there’s no truth in their misjudgment of Christians for the reality they don’t have any understanding at all.

PENTECOSTALISM, ITS THEOLOGY & THE CHARISMATIC CHAOS REVISITED

psalm 23

I am always supporting Pentecostalism, for God honors it by saving the lost through this persuasion as well. Who am I to judge what God has used for the salvation of souls? After Paul rebuked the Corinthian church for speaking in tongues like fools, he said “do not forbid to speak in tongues.” (1 Cor. 14:39) True, we cannot fathom the “fine prints” in God’s words most of the time. But the extreme Pentecostalism is just far-off; studying and exposing it is always beneficial for real Christianity that is committed to the truth. It is the very core topic of this humble work.

Faith Builds the Person

Without faith, human existence would be miserable if not impossible, for in it hangs all institutions of government and society. Without it, no civilization can ever stand. Our banking system, for example, is one organization where people deposit money based on faith alone that when needed it can be withdrawn. Faith, therefore, is our most precious possession as it provides us the reasoned sense of assurance as we confront our doubts and fears. How did you know, for instance, that the guy who took your beloved wife and son to the airport was a professional cabdriver? With faith that all is well with you today, you would have a peaceful harmony with your inner being; and with your incoherent suspicions of life prevented from spreading and conquering your mind and soul. For “faith is the assurance of things hoped for,” according to the Holy Bible, “the evidence of things not seen.” (Heb 11:1) It is the eyes of our soul and the root of a happy and peaceful existence itself. Faith builds the person, whereas doubt and skepticism would only lead one to stagnation, hopelessness, and defeat.

Real Peace of Mind and Heart: Possible Only in Christ

real peace

How to have real peace of mind and heart? The Bible teaches two kinds of peace. One is given by the world; the other, by Christ Jesus. “My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, do I give to you.” The natural man tends to seek after the real peace of this world. His surest formula to have the tranquility of mind and soul is to have a whirl with friends. Or, sometimes he would choose to waste his energy in mountain climbing or travels to attain real peace hopefully.
