Spirit-filled Witnesses Impacting Real Christianity More

testimony that grabs away christ glory honor

I heard few preachers in my life as a Christian who introduced the importance of their sermon by announcing their efforts and the many hours of research they spent in the preparation of their message. After listening, however, we were like dogs on famine mood — learning nothing (no real spiritual encouragement and revival) from the so-called “message from God.” We all need the power of the Holy Spirit, taught the Holy Scriptures, before we can be effective witnesses of our Lord Jesus Christ. The temptation of most public speakers, they be pastors or not, is to deliver a discourse that is acceptable and pleasing to the ears of their listeners, both politically correct and worthy of the audience’s hurrahs. Witnessing for Christ Jesus, however, is a field requiring Christ’s assistance through the Holy Spirit. It is the only proven method to make the poor and unschooled Peter to become an Apostle, preacher, and one of the writers of the New Testament. It was clearly taught in Acts 1:8: “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.” One research shows, for example, that hundreds of the descendants of the man of God, Jonathan Edwards, also became preachers and workers of the Lord’s Church. The Spirit-filled witnesses of Christ have impacted real Christianity for thousands of years more than the PowerPoint and Internet-assisted Bible scholars and authors of Christian books of today’s generation.

Earthly People After the Millennium – Ruled by the Believers

earthly people

We, Adam’s children, are the summit of God’s creation. We were created to trust in Jesus Christ for our salvation from hell for our Maker’s big plan for us in the universe beyond the span of time. Those rejecters and deniers of our Lord Jesus couldn’t be a part of this sacred grand design. His program, according to the Scriptures, is to let Christ’s born-again followers and all those saved people since the days of old ( all those partakers of the First Resurrection!) run the affairs of God’s earthly people after the Millennium. We will be kings and priests (the kingdom administrators) of Jesus Christ eternal reign — the Lord of lords and the King of kings. (cf. Rev. 17:14; 1 Tim. 6:15)

Paradoxical Christian Teaching: Comfort in Affliction

Paradoxical Christian Teaching

The Bible teaches that there is peace for Christ’s followers amidst the storms of life. It is an antithetical Christian teaching at the surface. The wisdom of this world suggests the idea of a predictable peace right after the tempest. Hence, the cliche: “peace after the storm” or “darkest hour before the dawn.” But what divine teaching is it that there is peace and comfort while one is in the limbo of trials and sufferings?

Christ’s Promised Eternal Life Versus Salvation by Works

Christ's promised eternal life

Eternal security is one teaching our Lord affirms firmly in His Word. Teach it, and you will produce real born-again Christians. In John 6:37 Jesus made this truth so clear that “the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out.” And in John 10:28 He said, “and I give eternal life to them, and they shall never perish; and no one shall snatch them out of My hand. ” Once saved, always saved! But Christ’s promised eternal life won’t fit into the framework of man-made Theology that was conceived and intended to glorifying man and giving him the honor for striving to attain immortality through his good works.

Spiritual Stability of Those Applying Christ’s Word

What is spiritual stability? This query seems unimportant or irrelevant for the unsaved floods of people. They don’t have time for the God of the Bible—not until hunger, disease, or the mystery of death breaks through their lives! Their obsession with the cares of this life deceives them to love themselves more than God.

Heavenly Residents Because of Christ

Heavenly Residents

One good news we love to listen again and again is that we will be heavenly residents assuredly in the hereafter because of Jesus Christ. Paul, the apostle, wrote about it: “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.” (Phil 3:20) It does not matter if one had been living the life of a thief or a murderer for a long time before one followed our Lord. It does matter if one is a stick-in-the-mud sinner because all human beings in heaven since time began were true blue sinners irrespective of the weight of their wickedness and age level at death.
