Big Question Requiring an Answer in this World and Beyond

The Big Question

I want to tell you one thing: we can do nothing against the truth, but only for the truth. What is the truth? The Bible teaches us that Jesus is the Truth (cf. John 14:6). If you love the Lord in your heart, it is because you love the truth—you love light rather than darkness. It is the big question that demands an answer today while we are still alive and able to decide: Do we trust wholeheartedly that Jesus Christ is the Truth and that all His claims in the Holy Bible are true?

The apostle Paul once said: “For we can do nothing against the truth, but only for the truth.” Biblically, our Lord is the Answer to all inquiries about life since He is the Truth—He is the only One perfectly knowledgeable about the mysteries and the big questions of life. “I am the vine,” He said, “you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, FOR APART FROM ME YOU CAN DO NOTHING.” Where will we turn for answers if we reject Christ, the Son of God, who is the Truth?

For we can do nothing against the truth, but only for the truth. — 2 Corinthians 13:8

The Big Question About Homosexuality and Christ’s Power to Heal It

I watched a YouTube video published by The Activist Mommy about the “Gay Pride Parade” in the City of Columbus, Ohio, and two things caught my attention. The obvious mental disorder and utter moral idiocy and abomination manifested by the participants were the first things I noticed. Second, I learned about the participation of the so-called Christian churches in this parade and I supported the comments of The Activist Mommy concerning it. Here is the link.

We are confronted with the big question and challenge about homosexuality since most of our church and political leaders have endorsed it as the new normal. Real Christianity is dead in most liberal Christian churches today. The LGBT agenda is now taught to young children in many places as the absoluteness of truth has already been demolished in the post-Christian era to succumb to the Liberals’ teaching that everything is relative and that truth is subject to one’s opinion and feelings.

I learned about one Hollywood lesbian who was gay after being sexually abused at a young age. But then, while living her confused life, she met Jesus Christ in her heart and became a woman again. We learned from the Holy Bible that homosexuality is the devil’s invention. But the YouTube video is a witness to the hundreds, even thousands, of gay-turned-Christian testimonials.

Christ answered the big question about homosexuality. He can heal this type of demonic oppression, too.

Another Big Question that We All Need to Answer is: How to Trust and Obey Christ?

How to love Jesus? It is one big question, too!

I once heard somebody say, “Never say Jesus Christ to my mother!” In many hearts, the nailing of Christ goes on. I pierced a nail or two into Jesus’ feet before—at least in my heart. Then, one day, I met Him by faith through the Gospel. I learned that Jesus, who is God the Son, walked on this planet (as a Man) to give me one extremely precious gift: that is, my eternal life! He died on the cross to pay for my sins, as well as yours if you come to believe in His name.

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.” —John 3:16

What if you cannot accept Jesus into your heart as Lord and personal Savior—as the Giver of eternal life? What if you can’t trust Him as the only Way to heaven? The big question you must surely answer in this life and beyond is: who will forgive you for your sins? Who will save you from the coming torments of hell in the hereafter? Your religion, good works, good morality, riches—everything that is yours in this life—can not guarantee you eternal salvation; can never help you win a place in heaven where Christ is King of kings and Lord of lords!

“Your religion, good works, good morality, riches—everything that is yours in this life—can not guarantee you eternal salvation—can never help you win a place in heaven where Christ is King of kings and Lord of lords!”

You need Jesus Christ as much as I do. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He is the Key; He is all that you need to live forever. “Apart from Me, you can do nothing.” (John 15:5) We need to trust and obey Jesus.

Trust and Obey — (A Hymn)

When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way!
While we do His good will, He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.

Refrain:
Trust and obey, for there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

Not a shadow can rise, not a cloud in the skies,
But His smile quickly drives it away;
Not a doubt or a fear, not a sigh or a tear,
Can abide while we trust and obey.

Not a burden we bear, not a sorrow we share,
But our toil He doth richly repay;
Not a grief or a loss, not a frown or a cross,
But is blessed if we trust and obey.

But we never can prove the delights of His love
Until all on the altar we lay;
For the favor He shows, for the joy He bestows,
Are for them who will trust and obey.

Then in fellowship sweet we will sit at His feet,
Or we’ll walk by His side in the way;
What He says we will do, where He sends we will go;
Never fear, only trust and obey.

The Answer to the Big Question About Faith in Jesus Christ

What do you think of Christ? You’ll decide to invite Jesus into your heart right now, won’t you? Please say to Jesus this brief prayer of faith:

Lord, I know You are the Truth. You are my Savior; You are my Eternal Life. Forgive me, O Lord, from all my sins. Now I want You to come into my life to be my Lord and personal Savior, for You are the Truth, and I can do nothing against the Truth. Amen.
