The Big Question

I want to tell you one thing: we can do nothing against the truth, but only for the truth. What is the truth? The Bible teaches that Jesus is the Truth (cf. John 14:6). If you love the Lord in your heart, it is because you love truth — you love light rather than darkness. It is the big question that demands answer today while we are still alive and able to make a decision: Do we trust wholeheartedly that Jesus Christ is the Truth and that all His claims in the Holy Bible are the truth? The apostle Paul once said: “For we can do nothing against the truth, but only for the truth.” Biblically, our Lord is the Answer to all inquiries about life since He is the Truth—He is the only One perfectly knowledgeable about the mysteries and the big questions of life. “I am the vine,” He declared, “you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, FOR APART FROM ME YOU CAN DO NOTHING.” Where shall we go to get answers if we choose to reject Christ, the Son of God, who is the Truth?

Christ’s Promised Eternal Life Versus Salvation by Works

Christ's promised eternal life

Eternal security is one teaching our Lord affirms firmly in His Word. Teach it, and you will produce real born-again Christians. In John 6:37 Jesus made this truth so clear that “the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out.” And in John 10:28 He said, “and I give eternal life to them, and they shall never perish; and no one shall snatch them out of My hand. ” Once saved, always saved! But Christ’s promised eternal life won’t fit into the framework of man-made Theology that was conceived and intended to glorifying man and giving him the honor for striving to attain immortality through his good works.

Broken Spirit Leads to God and Faith in Jesus Christ

broken spirit leads to god contrite heart

We are closer to God only when we seem broken inwardly — in the spirit. It is the meaning of Psalm 51:17: “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; A broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.” Hence, trials are necessary for a balanced life! They are God’s will for us to believe and humble ourselves before Him. They are divine mechanisms to remind us of our dust origin. God is near to those experiencing a broken spirit and having a contrite or repentant heart.

Here are some tips on how to attract a mature-minded, middle-income, intelligent, godly, well-adjusted and potential future wife. But, firstly, may I stress that our approach differs with one’s level of maturity, experience, and godliness.

Know God and Understand Him More

Both the Ph.D. and the unschooled believe they know God. That’s why most people don’t like to attend a Bible Study. “Don’t teach us religion, for we too believe in God; we have our own religion; we don’t need your sermon!” Yes, that’s how most of us react when the subject is all about the Bible and Christ. But do we know God and understand Him from the Biblical angle?

ANXIETY. In paradise, the devil told Eve to cast all her cares upon herself. He said, “you will be like God.”  Since then man thinks he has the built-in capacity to handle the challenges of life. He is like God in his estimate of himself. “For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks.” (Rom. 1:21)

In their crusade to face life outside of God’s care, Adam and Eve sewed fig leaves for their clothing. “We can do it,” they told themselves. Yes, they learned their first lessons in dressmaking in the backwoods of paradise while hiding away from their Creator.
