Christmas is About Truth and Freedom

Christmas is about Christ; but right after His birth, people dethroned Him and removed Him away from His rightful place as Savior of the world. Songs composed during this season were about food, fun, and Christmas lights. Humanity's rejection of Christ is best expressed this time of the year such as people's efforts to reduce Christ's birth to a Christless feast and holiday.

Christian Hope of Immortality and a Blissful Life in Heaven

Our belief of a deathless life in heaven is the most remarkable Christian expectation and confidence in this life. Why, because “it has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit.” Our Christian hope of immortality and a blissful life in heaven—in a new, incorruptible body (1 Cor. 15:51-54)—is not mere utopian or quixotic dream. It is a living hope that will always survive with the Holy Spirit watering such seed of anticipation of the forgiven soul. The Apostle Peter called this Christian hopefulness as the <b>living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

testimony that grabs away christ glory honor

Spirit-filled Witnesses Impacting Real Christianity More

I heard few preachers in my life as a Christian who introduced the importance of their sermon by announcing their efforts and the many hours of research they spent in the preparation of their message. After listening, however, we were like dogs on famine mood --- learning nothing (no real spiritual encouragement and revival) from the so-called "message from God." We all need the power of the Holy Spirit, taught the Holy Scriptures, before we can be effective witnesses of our Lord Jesus Christ. The temptation of most public speakers, they be pastors or not, is to deliver a discourse...

Christ's promised eternal life

Christ’s Promised Eternal Life Versus Salvation by Works

Eternal security is one teaching our Lord affirms firmly in His Word. Teach it, and you will produce real born-again Christians. In John 6:37 Jesus made this truth so clear that “the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out.” And in John 10:28 He said, “and I give eternal life to them, and they shall never perish; and no one shall snatch them out of My hand. ” Once saved, always saved! But Christ's promised eternal life won't fit into the framework of man-made Theology that was conceived and intended to glorifying man and giving him...

Time Consciousness Bars Eternal Life

Be enslaved, therefore, by time consciousness and consider timelessness as a prominent symbol of ignorance or academic mediocrity. Or, think about the soul as just the brain; and God, the natural product of malnutrition or sleeplessness or the analgesic of the poor.

Praise-Worship Doctrine of Extreme Pentecostalism

Praise-Worship Instead of Praise and Worship. Pentecostal theologians say that if you truly praise God, then show it physically. Van Cleave added that a showy-praise practice is an aid to worship. (See Guy P. Duffield and Nathaniel M. Van Cleave. Foundations of Pentecostal Theology. L.I.F.E. Bible Colleg, San Dimas, California 91773. 1987.) In Pentecostal meetings you will find some dancing, clapping, crying, shouting, speaking in tongues, among other forms of worship-disorder. They call it as "praise and worship." Further examinations of this teaching, however, show that it more fitting for the doctrine to be named as PRAISE-WORSHIP instead of "praise...
