Our Savior and Lord
Our natural insatiability is one huge cause of unhappiness that logic, high-class education, or even having tons of money and a beautiful wife, cannot overcome.
The word “gospel” means good news. And biblical gospel refers to the good news according to the Holy Bible. If it is not scriptural, it is a counterfeit gospel. We need to shake that off at all costs. But what is this good news or biblical gospel? The short answer is Jesus Christ.
Our Lord sealed off the depth of this psalm, “written about Me.” (See Luke 24:44). As with other Scriptures, Psalm 23 earns our sacred spiritual care.
It is the problem; when religion becomes a quasi-empire, and the ego of the leaders is overwhelming. These leaders cannot be vessels for honor for the Master’s use.
What is most ignored in the cyber world—the Christian blog—turns out to give its writer satisfaction in the writing universe. Why? The reason is plain when by faith you hear Christ saying, “[F]or apart from Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5) We are connected to Christ by faith. His Spirit lives in our souls, giving us hope for the future. Writing a Christian blog for the salvation of the lost gives honor and glory to our Lord—and that’s what we should do!
I heard about Christ as our Advocate or Lawyer to the Father. What is it? Christ is not only our Savior from sin but our Helper or Advocate in this life. You are like being pulled out from the mire of sin by our Savior, but He did not just stop from there. Because of His eternal love for you, He took care of you and sheltered you every inch from the devil’s lies and accusations. Our Christ does not just SAVE but COMFORT us after rescuing us from the slavery of sin.
