From the world’s view, this thesis is false because the top in the list of people who get persecution or death are always Christians. In the U.S., for example, the believers of Jesus are viewed as bigots, having a mental disorder, and intolerant. The problem is that most of those attacking Christianity are themselves, bigots, having a mental disorder, and intolerant. There is so much hypocrisy in society but born-again Christianity is simply based on the truth, who is Christ.

The Big Question

I want to tell you one thing: we can do nothing against the truth, but only for the truth. What is the truth? The Bible teaches us that Jesus is the Truth (cf. John 14:6). If you love the Lord in your heart, it is because you love the truth—you love light rather than darkness. It is the big question that demands an answer today while we are still alive and able to decide: Do we trust wholeheartedly that Jesus Christ is the Truth and that all His claims in the Holy Bible are true?

The apostle Paul once said: “For we can do nothing against the truth, but only for the truth.” Biblically, our Lord is the Answer to all inquiries about life since He is the Truth—He is the only One perfectly knowledgeable about the mysteries and the big questions of life. “I am the vine,” He said, “you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, FOR APART FROM ME YOU CAN DO NOTHING.” Where will we turn for answers if we reject Christ, the Son of God, who is the Truth?

We, Adam’s children, are the summit of God’s creation. We were created to trust in Jesus Christ for our salvation from hell for our Maker’s big plan for us in the universe beyond the span of time. Those rejecters and deniers of our Lord Jesus couldn’t be a part of this sacred grand design. His program, according to the Scriptures, is to let Christ’s born-again followers and all those saved people since the days of old ( all those partakers of the First Resurrection!) run the affairs of God’s earthly people after the Millennium. We will be kings and priests (the kingdom administrators) of Jesus Christ eternal reign — the Lord of lords and the King of kings. (cf. Rev. 17:14; 1 Tim. 6:15)

God’s love is the message of true Christianity, and it is beautifully woven into the story of the Seed of the woman. The Holy Bible tells us the big story about this Seed. It begins with our Father God creating all things in heaven and on earth out of nothing. He embellished the boundless expanse of the universe with stars and galaxies. Through His powers, the void and formless earth then saw the shining sun as the clouds dressed the skies. He created life which then brought many things to the earth such as the music of nature during the night and the amazing millions of colors that painted the breaking of every day. I am always seized by the magnificence of the mountain ranges, the rivers, and the joy of the flowers, for in nature I see divine beauty and design—the very portrayal of God’s loving character!

Hence, our salvation, our eternal life, is “the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.”
