Unbelief in Christ Jesus
Christmas is about Christ; but right after His birth, people dethroned Him and removed Him away from His rightful place as Savior of the world. Songs composed during this season were about food, fun, and Christmas lights. Humanity’s rejection of Christ is best expressed this time of the year such as people’s efforts to reduce Christ’s birth to a Christless feast and holiday.
We, Adam’s children, are the summit of God’s creation. We were created to trust in Jesus Christ for our salvation from hell for our Maker’s big plan for us in the universe beyond the span of time. Those rejecters and deniers of our Lord Jesus couldn’t be a part of this sacred grand design. His program, according to the Scriptures, is to let Christ’s born-again followers and all those saved people since the days of old ( all those partakers of the First Resurrection!) run the affairs of God’s earthly people after the Millennium. We will be kings and priests (the kingdom administrators) of Jesus Christ eternal reign — the Lord of lords and the King of kings. (cf. Rev. 17:14; 1 Tim. 6:15)
I want to explore the value of loving Christ our Lord. You may accuse me of discussing an offbeat topic for the unbelievers, but our niche leads us to discuss this type of conversation. The value of loving Christ is akin to divine security of immortality—your immortality!
Faith in Jesus is the key to living forever, “for by GRACE you have been saved through FAITH.” Christ’s promised eternal life makes sense since we are sinners and cannot impress God with our gifts and charities to the poor. Hence, our salvation, our eternal life, is “the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.”
Be enslaved, therefore, by time consciousness and consider timelessness as a prominent symbol of ignorance or academic mediocrity. Or, think about the soul as just the brain; and God, the natural product of malnutrition or sleeplessness or the analgesic of the poor.
How to keep your husband’s love? Or, where shall we get the wisest counsel on how to make your man continue to love you? Of course, the light always comes from the Holy Bible. Martin Luther (where the Lutheran church got its name), for example, has this piece of advice: “Let the wife make the husband glad to come home, and let him make her sorry to see him leave.” To keep your husband’s love is not difficult at all if you are the typical Bible-described wife. God said that the woman must obey her husband.
