God’s Way Leads Us to the Right and Safe Path

God's way leads us away from fanaticism

God’s way leads us to the right and safe path. Our life, being God-given, must always string along the right route for it was not designed for cut and try or hit and miss existence. Let’s perpetually fix in the mind that “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

Understanding Physical Death & the Life Beyond

understanding physical death

Death is a cruel master. He has the power to kill a janitor or a senator. Understanding physical death from the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Holy Scriptures is, therefore, second to none as to its significance.

Doubted God’s Word and Sincerity

doubted God's Word

The experience of Lot (Abraham’s nephew) was not uncommon: he doubted God’s word like everyone else in this domain. The Bible said that Lot was a righteous man who was just living with the unbelievers and among those who were engaging in gay or lesbian acts. Lot lived in Sodom from which the word “sodomy” comes. God wanted to burn the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighboring towns.

Know God and Understand Him More

Both the Ph.D. and the unschooled believe they know God. That’s why most people don’t like to attend a Bible Study. “Don’t teach us religion, for we too believe in God; we have our own religion; we don’t need your sermon!” Yes, that’s how most of us react when the subject is all about the Bible and Christ. But do we know God and understand Him from the Biblical angle?

Christian Prayer Gives Delight to God

On TV, we see Muslim radicals praying before launching an attack. This kind of praying in the spirit of killing will not give joy to the only true God, the Creator of heaven and earth, the God of Moses—the God of the Holy Bible, who is the Father of Christ! This prayerfulness is an ABOMINATION to the Lord. Observe the first part of the verse: “The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD…” It is no surprise to us that even the priests and “pastors” of the Christian faith may have made abominable prayers to God, for God’s word in Proverbs 15:8 states that “the prayer of the upright is His delight.” Yes, you and I may have prayed unto the Father in heaven a prayer that was not pleasing to Him. How to be UPRIGHT or RIGHTEOUS then, so that our prayer gives delight to God?

Well, Faith Promise giving is without a supporting verse, for God does not “preach” it. Yesterday, I heard someone using the book of Esther … Read more
