What is a Feminist Movement and how relevant it is to our understanding of marital and family relationships? Is the assertion of most wives that they are better off without their weak husbands the ideal model to follow?
Funny or strange thoughts about love continue to come and go like unwanted visitors of many healthy relationships. Have you heard about the so-called “5 Bs” that a man must require from a woman before deciding to marry her? I was a high schooler when I first heard some strange thoughts about love. They said that the ideal woman has “5 Bs,” the acronym for 1) Beauty; 2) Brain; 3) Background; 4) Behavior; and 5) Bank Book.
Understanding erotic love. The love of the opposite sex is very unstable among our youth. Why? Because of the idealism of the young for perfection, fame, money, and good looks. Hence, a long engagement is essential before marriage. The lovers need to first clear up the cobwebs of youthful dreams for a life partner. For proof that it is so, one study shows that a year of relationship before marriage is much better compared to a rush union.
Divorce is needed when the marital union only brings harm to the life of the spouses and the children as well. Otherwise, divorce should not be taken as an option for mere incompatibility or misunderstanding.

Have you noticed that as we advance in technology, we deteriorate in moral values so equally fast? While Eve covered herself, many in today’s generation wanted to show off their body? Nude societies are making headlines in Australia and other countries. And people love them for being such blatantly depraved! God said that the man, Legion, was undressed, and had 2,000 demons! (cf. Mark 5:15) Mary Magdalene had seven demons. (Mark 16:9) Indeed, the demons are influencing our culture, and worse, our majority support and enjoy them! The apostle Paul wrote over 2000 years ago that “although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.” Corrupt politicians are voted in and the principled ones voted out. The people’s choice to release Barabbas, the robber, and crucify Jesus stays in the human heart until now to dignify what is crooked and wrong. How about calling a harlot as a “pornstar?” What talent does she possess to merit the adjective of a “star” or famous? Why not shameful, wicked, falling star—or other terms more convicting! The demons, the powers of darkness, must have twisted our moral sense and shaped out what is ugly and immoral into our culture.
