You will travel across thousands of miles before you can get there. How powerful is your faith in God? For the Bible says that your faith, if it is scriptural, is confident that God knows and hears you. Observe 1 John 5:13-15 NASB:These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.” Your faith therefore is more precious than anything else here on earth, for by it you will “know that you have eternal life” and that God “hears us in whatever we ask,” according to His will. From these great truths, you can have only one conclusion: your faith in God is replete with power! You are therefore nothing more than a bundle of divine power.

Fatherless babies are spreading, thanks to the cultural tolerance on single parenthood. The single-mom circumstance, now adapted as a new normal, seems to invade the erstwhile conservative and reverential treatment of the Filipinos for the institution of marriage and the family.

Kindness Misunderstood

Is it true that your kindness to others will always be rewarded? I don’t think so. We define kindness as the tendency to be forgiving or the “quality of being warmhearted and considerate and humane and sympathetic.”

A compassion that’s expecting a reward or a reciprocal attitude from whom we tender kindness is deceptive and manipulative. Kindness is being nice to others with no ulterior motives. “It’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice,” someone once said.
