Is God’s Love Unaffected by Man’s Behavior?
The preacher’s lecture that God’s love “is unaffected by man’s behavior” leads to the Hyper-Calvinists’ controversial doctrine on God’s Sovereignty and Irresistible Grace.

If there’s one thing we don’t fully understand, it is our nature to depend on someone or something in times of need. A child depends on his or her mother, for example, and the mother on her job or parents. Abraham Lincoln once said, “All that I am or ever hope to be, I owe to my angel mother.”
God’s very first question to man was, “Where are you?” This very moment you may have been joyous or sad; happy or maybe angry. Every passing moment God is interested of your closeness to Him. He is interested in your fellowship with Him as He was with Adam.
I couldn’t claim any impressive record of material success. I am nothing and continue to be so until my departure from this realm. I led my family to Christ, and I’m proud of that. It is my greatest achievement: to meet my family in heaven forever!
Free salvation offered by Christ. . ..Christ limits His free-salvation offer only to those who believe in His atoning death on the cross. Some think the formula to live eternally is faith in Christ plus church membership, baptism, and other types of moral duty. Concerning good works, the apostle Paul declared that it is the result, and not the cause of salvation. Doing a charitable endeavor, therefore, such as giving money to feed the poor cannot clean and forgive the guilt of a sinful soul. “I am the door,” taught our Lord Jesus, “if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved.” (John 10:9) We are not the “door” to heaven; Christ is!
A person who is born of the Spirit, therefore, relies upon Jesus for his eternal life and assurance by sincere faith in our Lord’s finished work on the cross at Calvary.
