Going Crazy

Going crazy for something unenlightened or confusing? I have a story about one man who told me he dreamed of becoming a president of our country. Well-focused, he became a lawyer, got elected to a position in the government, then, alas, a few years later he committed suicide at a young age! Why is ambition sometimes so destructive to the mind? That guy who happened to be a friend got so depressed that he took away his life. How to save your mind from going crazy?

Confusion and Depression

Confusion and depression may somehow lead to schizophrenic disorder or other mental ailment. If psychiatry has been a perfected science already, then why are there so many people having a mental disorder today of whatever form? I should say that knowledge of the God of the Holy Bible has already saved thousands, or even millions, of people from depression or anxiety disorders—from committing suicide! In the Book of Lamentations 3:25, it is written that “The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, To the person who seeks Him.” God can help you save your mind from going crazy!

Christ Saved a Baby

Going Crazy for Something Unenlightened, Confusing

One woman was so confused being pregnant to a man she didn’t love. Abortion knocked around her best options. We hired her, but she didn’t tell us about her problem. Bible Study is part of our office routine. She attended and there learned that abortion is a great sin. Consequently, she married her man—raised her baby, who is now giving her and her husband great joy. See! Jesus our Lord just saved her and the baby. God can help you keep your mind from going crazy!

How many in the whole wide world will commit suicide today? Aren’t you a Christian? Well, we need some light in this dark world. Listen to Christ words:

“I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” (John 8:12 NASB)

Guard your mind against going crazy by trusting in the goodness of God through Christ.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. 9 The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you. Phil. 4:6-9
