Preacher on the Web

A verse of Scripture has the power to change a life. As the traditional Bible teacher uses the classroom, so ByThisVerse.com uses the Web to expound a Bible truth. It intends to be a preacher on the Web. It covers a broad range of issues or topics from culture, society, marriage, salvation, sin, soul, materialism, spirituality, Jesus Christ, heaven, hell, the saints, the church, and the things to come. Its target audience includes all those seeking for meaning in this life; those who want to know more about the God of the Holy Bible and Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.

A Preacher Beyond Borders

ByThisVerse.com is also aiming to reach the unreachable and famous who have spiritual quests, like all of us, for truth and guidance. The Gospel of Christ is so intelligent that even kings and geniuses believe it to be nothing more than the very Word of God. God is not a respecter of persons. The man in the ditch and him in the palace are both sinners and without hope of eternal life unless they have the saving knowledge of Christ, the Forgiver. “Preach the Gospel to all the nations,” commanded Christ. This site thus intends to play the role of a preacher on the Web.

An Electronic-Servant Preacher

Designed to answer inquiries, ByThisVerse.com accepts comment from readers per post. Should it succeed in mustering an audience, the word of God through the Holy Bible will now have a new form of global exposure. This site will then become, like the thousand other sites on the Web with the same objective, God’s “electronic servant” that’s helping spread the Good News to the lost around the world. Hence, ByThisVerse.com intends to be a preacher on the Web.

God said that the soul is more important that the whole world, for it will never die. Hence, Christ became a human being like us so that we be redeemed from sin and the domain of darkness. The death, burial, and resurrection of Christ is the message of the whole Gospel. Wrote the  apostle John: “the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.” (1 John 1:7) Paul also said that “The life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.” (Gal. 2:20)

A Preacher for Christ’s Glory

The glory of Christ, who was crucified for our sins, is the heart of this site’s existence. The world’s religions such as Buddhism, Islam, and a thousand more are carving out aggressively their presence on the Web.

Their teachings are good, but they can never rival the Holy Bible in terms of authority and divinity. Said Christ: “and the scripture cannot be broken” (John 10:35).

ByThisVerse.com therefore is always a welcome site for the true Christians, for it is always our desire to know more about our God, and much more through the convenience of the Internet. We Christians do need a preacher on the Web. Said Charles H. Spurgeon:

“Now as to that which was a complete Revelation, it is blasphemous to suppose that there can be any more revealed than has been made known in the Person and work of Jesus Christ the Son of God!”
