Believes in the Son. Lucifer became the Devil by choice. Adam left Paradise... or Lot lived in Sodom... or Judas went to Hell--by choice! There's no arm-twisting in God's government; we are free to obey or disobey our Maker. Life in Heaven or Hell? It's purely our own responsibility--OUR very OWN choice. God's word is crystal-clear: "He who BELIEVES in the SON has EVERLASTING LIFE; and he who DOES NOT BELIEVE the SON shall NOT SEE LIFE, but the WRATH of GOD ABIDES on him." John 3:36
